Doctor. Activist. Ally.

A Conversation Between Dr. Mysheika Williams Roberts and Dr. Susan Koletar

It was once a great struggle for a woman to be considered for a medical education in the United States—or anywhere, for that matter. Today, however, women are not only some of the most accomplished professionals in the medical field, they are using their education to heal and empower those who have been disenfranchised. Join us for a conversation between Dr. Mysheika Williams Roberts, Columbus’ first African-American health commissioner, and Dr. Susan Koletar, director of the Division of Infectious Diseases and professor of Internal Medicine at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Both women are using their medical education to improve the health and well-being of some of the most vulnerable individuals in our communities.
