Why YWCA Columbus
As the COVID pandemic and police brutality have again demonstrated, bias comes in many forms—from direct physical violence to inequities in our health, housing, and economic systems. For decades, YWCA Columbus has used action and advocacy to fight all forms of discrimination. Our mission demands it of us: Eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all.
Please join us for The Big Give, a 25-hour giving rally that boosts your donation. For every dollar you give to YWCA Columbus, The Columbus Foundation will add a bonus amount. These funds will fuel YWCA Columbus as we support those in urgent need at our Family Center, ignite social justice through advocacy and reform, and educate and empower the next generation of activists.
It’s two days that can lead to a future of dignity and safety for us all.

The Big Give – Details
June 10 at 10 am to June 11 at 11am
The Columbus Foundation, its family of donors, and corporate and community partners have provided $1 million+ in Bonus Pool funds to help everyone’s dollars go further.
All donations during the 25-hour period will receive a pro rata portion of the Bonus Pool. (For example, if there is a Bonus Pool of $1,000,000 and a total amount raised of $4,000,000, then 25 cents will be added to every dollar donated.)
In addition, The Columbus Foundation will cover all credit card fees, so 100% of donations go to participating nonprofits.
Columbus Foundation donors can make a donation using their Donor Advised Fund or Supporting Foundation starting at a minimum of $100.
Anyone can participate using a major credit card (VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express), or via PayPal, Apple Pay, or Google Pay, starting with a minimum gift of $20. Everyone who makes a donation will receive an email receipt.
All donations are final; no donation can be rescinded.
