Kids Place Summer Program

For currently enrolled parents:

In light of Governor DeWines’s recent announcements that allow child care, gyms, pools and summer camps to reopen in the near future, YWCA Columbus is ready to provide an outstanding and safe summer camp experience to our Kids Place families. Our summer camp programs begin June 15 at McVay Elementary and Mifflin Presbyterian Church, and spaces are still available for students from all school districts!

Additionally, we would like to share the  Responsible RestartOhio guidelines from the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services and the YWCA Kids Place protocols we have developed to ensure the safety of your child(ren).  We recognize that these are uncertain times and hope to answer some of your questions.  We appreciate your patience as we navigate the steps to re-opening and look forward to working with your family soon!

For Summer Parents

I enjoy the activities and programs that are offered. My daughter has even taught some of the games to my younger daughter, and now they play together. I also enjoy the anti-racism/anti-bullying program as I believe it is very important to teach tolerance to young individuals.
YWCA Kids Place Parent
The teachers are genuinely interested in our kids and our family as a whole. They are nurturing, kind, and respectful. I appreciate that the staff members ensure it stays safe and the kids are happy.
