Your gifts support the YWCA Columbus Family Center and Women’s Residency, both of which directly serve those in need of emergency and long-term housing.
- 215 families served, including 460 children, so far in 2021
- 104 women supported through the Women’s Residency Program so far this year

We also use your donations to fuel:
- Reform of local eviction policies and practices, which disproportionately affect children and communities of color the most
- Emergency rental assistance to prevent homelessness and keep people out of shelters
- Tax incentives for affordable housing development and buying out options that make housing more available to those who have faced historic discrimination and poverty
- Changes to the zoning code that create more inclusive neighborhoods across our community
- Reforming housing policies and practices to affirm fair housing for people of color and women
- Increasing access to homeownership for Black community members through increasing access to fair loan practices, closing the wealth gap, and investing in Black home ownership
- Enacting protective measures in policy against LGBTQ+ discrimination
