Our Comprehensive Curriculum

Choice Based Learning

Kids Place programs are all planned with choice-based, student-led activities. Teachers plan different activities that allow students to be independent both in the activities they are choosing to participate in, and in following their interests.

STEAM, also known as Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics, is an all-encompassing curriculum structure that allows Kids Place programming to support students academically.

Social Emotional Learning

We encourage individual growth & empowerment through Social Emotional Learning. Students learn skills like managing emotions, setting goals, expressing empathy, establishing positive relationships, and making responsible decisions.

Physical Fitness

Everyday students engage in 30 minutes or more of physical activity. Whether playing gym games, exploring different sports, or having time to run and laugh with friends, students are given the time and space to have active fun just being a kid.

The staff is great with my children. They have time to complete homework, play and do crafts. They hardly want to leave when we pick them up. We always have good communication about any issues one of the girls may be having.
