YWCA Columbus Receives Bezos Day 1 Families Fund Grant
By now, hopefully you’ve heard that YWCA Columbus received a $2.5 million grant from Jeff Bezos’ Day 1 Families Fund to help address family homelessness. This is a one-time grant awarded to organizations moving the needle on family homelessness. The link to the announcement and information about the Bezos Day 1 Families Fund can be found here. YWCA program and Family Center staff: Jillian Olinger, Christina Phalen, Sonya Todd and Adrienne Lee Garland deserve much of the credit for making this grant become a reality as they put together a terrific proposal. Please congratulate them on their excellent work!!
