Nominate a 2026 Woman of Achievement

Nominations for Women of Achievement 2026 are now available!

Women of Achievement honors those who embody our commitment to empower women: individuals who impact their professions, uplift their communities, fight bias, and inspire others. For nearly four decades, YWCA Columbus has been shining a bright light on the courage and compassion of these leaders. 

We welcome nominations of cisgender women, transgender women, and non-binary individuals who align with the mission of YWCA Columbus, as well as Women of Achievement’s celebration of influential women, and who would be comfortable accepting a women-centered award. 

General Guidelines

  • Once nominations are submitted, we respectfully ask that you do not contact YWCA Columbus Board of Directors or staff members regarding the status of your nomination. 

  • YWCA Columbus staff and Board members are not permitted to nominate potential Women of Achievement or write letters of support for nominations. 

  • External communication and updates regarding the selection of Women of Achievement will be shared on our website. 

  • A Woman of Achievement may not: 

    • Currently serve on either of YWCA Columbus' boards

    • Be employed by YWCA Columbus, including contract work 

    • Be an active elected official who is currently serving in public office, including but not limited to local school boards, councils, commissions, the Ohio legislature, etc.

Deadline: Friday, Sept. 12, 2025, at 11:59 p.m.

Note: All nominations must be submitted online no later than Sept. 12 by 11:59 p.m. (EST). Nominations submitted by mail will not be considered. Please contact Alissa Clouse, director of donor engagement, with any questions about the process or your nomination.
