Safe & Sound Child Care
YWCA Columbus is committed to youth development and early childhood education so that – with each new generation – we’re all braver, wiser, and kinder.
Safe & Sound provides structure and support in a safe environment that empowers parents and guardians to set and achieve their goals while maintaining stability – emotionally, financially, and more.
YWCA Columbus is now accepting infants, toddlers, and preschoolers at both of its Step Up to Quality gold-rated Safe & Sound childcare centers, which are located in the Shepard neighborhood on the east side (900 Harvey Ct., Columbus, OH 43219) and in Merion Village on the south side (27 W. Jenkins Ave., Columbus, OH 43207).
Caregivers can expect qualified and tenured staff, a state-based, creative curriculum focused on social and emotional learning, nutritious meals, and low classroom ratios. In addition, the program accepts Publicly Funded Child Care (PFCC) and works with several compassionate community partners.
Interested in Columbus Early Start? Safe & Sound now offers Early Start programming through the City of Columbus at both locations. Contact Christina Reeves-Castor (Harvey Ct.) or Emily Jacobs (Jenkins Ave.) to learn more!
