Sponsor a Meal for Homeless Families

Sponsor a Meal for Homeless Families

For many in our area, staying home isn’t an option. Some people have no home. Some can’t afford to miss a day on the job. And for some children, if they don’t go to school, they don’t get lunch. For these people, YWCA Columbus provides essential support every day. And when there’s a crisis, our support is even more crucial.

We rely on volunteers to host and serve three meals a day, seven days a week at our emergency homeless shelter. As the coronavirus situation has unfolded, we’ve had to cancel our volunteer opportunities, thus the need for us to step in and fund and serve meals where organizations or companies can no longer. With a gift, you make sure we can do what’s needed–serving three healthy meals to our Family Center residents every day.

There is no higher priority for YWCA Columbus than the well-being of our community. Your gift helps us protect just that. Stand up against fear and inequity. Stand for courage and compassion. When we work together as a community, we will weather this crisis.
