Thanks to generous grant support from AT&T, students in our YWCA Kids Place programs have been learning about entrepreneurship to become better citizens, out-of-the-box thinkers, and confident leaders. Our Kids Place staff trained under entrepreneur, author, and national presenter Chic Thompson to use and implement the WagiLabs curriculum. Our work was supported locally by Liz Nusken from the Ohio Afterschool Network too. After learning the curriculum, students had the opportunity to create their own pitches and participate in our first-ever YWCA Kids Place Guppy Tank Pitch Challenge.
