Protect Funding for 21st Century Community Learning Centers

The 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) initiative is the only federal funding source dedicated to supporting local summer learning and afterschool programs, like YWCA Columbus’ Kids Place charter school programs. And, like many other essential programs, its funding is at risk

These funds are not only beneficial – they are vital to the well-being, development, and success of YWCA’s students, families, and communities. YWCA Kids Place provides a safe and supportive environment for students who may otherwise lack access to academic help, social-emotional development opportunities, meals, and caring adult relationships. All 21st CCLC programs strengthen school-family-community partnerships, promote equity, and support working families. Please join YWCA Columbus in calling for the release of these funds by clicking below.
