As Columbus CEO's headline states, Liz leads each day with boldness and compassion. After becoming president and CEO in 2022, she immediately worked to increase the minimum wage from $15 to $20 an hour for full-time employees of YWCA Columbus. She also fights each day for the recipients of YWCA's services, in particular through the Shelter Providers Network, which includes YWCA Columbus, as well as six other shelter providers. The group works closely with Community Shelter Board, advocating for shelter funding to sustain services for Central Ohio's unhoused population.

Grounded in YWCA Columbus' mission to eliminate racism and empower women, Liz's role is particularly challenging in the current political climate, yet she leads with humility, clarity, and positivity. YWCA Columbus is proud of her wisdom and courage. As the organization celebrates its 140th anniversary in 2026, there is no one better poised to lead it forward.
